What is your typical day like? My typical day involves coding for iOS, reviewing tasks, sending out builds, planning builds and design discussions.
Why does working in the cloud sharing field interest you? Cloud computing is so much more than just sharing. At CX, I get to play a tiny role in part of a massive computing revolution that is taking place worldwide. I get to use many of the same technologies that power Google, Twitter, Zynga, Facebook and all the other big names. Building stuff is fun!
What do you use CX for? When I know I am going somewhere I won’t have mobile phone service, I make sure files I need are synced to my iPhone.
What’s your favorite part about working at CX? Great people. Great technology.
What’s your favorite food? Perogies, boiled, fried with sauteed onions and kielbasa, served with a dollop of sour cream. Mmm…
What’s your favorite band or musician? I listen to either Boards of Canada or Tycho for about 25 percent of any given work day.
What’s your favorite movie? Army of Darkness.
What are three of your favorite websites to visit, and why do you visit each one? Twitter, Wikipedia: Twitter raises a lot of questions, and Wikipedia contains a lot of answers. Flickr: Everyone loves looking at beautiful things.
What’s something people would be surprised to learn about you? I previously worked for a mobile game company. I spend much of my spare time drinking microbrewed beers and thinking about game development.
