How long have you been with CX? 1 1/2 years
What is your typical day like? Typical day — is there such a thing at CX? That is why I love working at CX, as there is not such a thing. My role in corporate development really allows me the ability to be involved in such a variety of projects which are both internal and external. From sales and new business development, to building new partnerships such as our recent release with Pi.pe and others, to internal activities such as actioning customer feedback, to implementing our enhanced support services structure for our CX for Business product, to reviewing our feature sets and working with development to review and consider additional features we can implement to further extend our world-class product further into the consumer and small business markets.
Why does working in the cloud sharing field interest you? The cloud is the future of all computing now that broadband Internet is everywhere!
What do you use CX for? Mostly Groups and collaboration — setting up deal teams, sharing the documents related to a deal and collaborating with my co-workers in finance, product development, support and senior management.
What’s your favorite part about working at CX? The fun and professional team I get to work with…not to mention the ping pong table!
What’s your favorite food? Having traveled most of the world, I really appreciate ethnic foods of all kinds. My favorite is Asian street food.
What’s your favorite band or musician? Jimmy Buffet, James Taylor, Ray Charles — you know, boring old guy stuff.
What’s your favorite movie? Apocalypse Now.
What are three of your favorite websites to visit, and why do you visit each one? Facebook to keep up with friends and family; LinkedIn to interact and network with potential customers, partners, resellers and vendors; and TechCrunch to keep up with the ever-changing news of what is new in the technology industry.
What’s something people would be surprised to learn about you? I spent several years studying photography and have won some awards for my photography work. I also have a passion for big game saltwater fishing…catch-and-release, of course.
