How long have you been with CX? 10 months.
What is your typical day like? I get to craft the iOS and Android apps. Day to day activities vary, but I spend a fair amount of time trying to understand the needs of our customers. Every week, I grab the next most important feature and start working on it. At CX, we try to release software early and often, so there is always a new challenge to tackle. The idea of a programmer sitting in a cube hacking out code 8 hours a day is almost completely opposite of what we do here at CX. Instead, we collaborate between teams to make sure all our products play well together. The culture is really what makes CX an outstanding place to work.
Why does working in the cloud sharingfield interest you? It’s an area of tech that is currently seeing explosive growth. Cloud services allow me to take my data everywhere I go and use it in unique ways. It’s not hard to get excited about the possibilities that the cloud is creating.

What do you use CX for? Syncing files, backing up important content, sharing data. We use CX internally for distribution of all Android beta testing.
What’s your favorite part about CX? The people I work with. They are excited and passionate about what they do, which helps me do the best work I can.
What’s your favorite food? Grilled cheese sandwiches.
What’s your favorite band or musician? The Mountain Goats.
What’s your favorite movie? Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs.
What are three of your favorite websites to visit, and why do you visit each one? GitHub — it’s like Facebook for programmers, and all the best developers use it. Twitter — I think I may have an addiction. Nedroid.com – I can’t explain why Nedroid is so funny, it just is.
What’s something people would be surprised to learn about you? I love to sail any chance I get.
