Hometown: Denver, Colo.

How long have you been with CX? Just over a year. I started with CX around November 2010.

What is your typical day like? I juggle quite a few duties, so my days can be quite varied. A typical day includes meeting with our product owner, discussing priorities with our project manager, scribbling ideas on a whiteboard, wireframing new designs and working with our interactive designer and development teams to bring our products to life.

Why does working in the cloud sharingfield interest you? I’ve always been interested in cutting-edge tech. Working on the cloud is a great opportunity to blend my creative and technical abilities. The cloud is a hot space to work in right now, and it’s a great time to try new ideas.

What do you use CX for? Ha! The question should be, “What don’t I use CX for?” Pretty much my entire digital life is stored in my CX account.

What’s your favorite part about CX? Absolutely my favorite part of CX is our team. We have an incredibly skilled team of passionate people that work really well together. We’re a lot of fun, too!

What’s your favorite food? Hmmm. It depends on the day, but pho, sushi, great Iberian ham and real Spanish olives all make the cut.

What’s your favorite band or musician? Right now I’m really into The Airborne Toxic Event, Santigold, The Ghosts and Fun. Oh, and anything by Lupe Fiasco or Kid Cudi.

What’s your favorite movie? Too many to list. I’m always up for a good comedy though.

What are your favorite websites to visit, and why do you visit each one? Techcrunch.com – to keep up on the latest startup news. Uxdesign.smashingmagazine.com — to keep up UX related news, trends and articles. Patterntap.com — to get inspiration for interaction patterns and design. Dribbble.com – to drool over pure pixel perfection.

What’s something people would be surprised to learn about you? In my former life, I was a recording engineer at a radio station and got to sit in on recording sessions with some some pretty big names like John Mayer, Jason Mraz and Sarah McLachlan.
